Reveal
Help people see what God has already been doing in their lives — the patterns, the passions, the wounds, and the wonders that point toward purpose.
Hand of Purpose
You were created on purpose for a purpose.
Begin the Journey →The Journey
No one begins life knowing where the road will lead. Some paths are smooth. Others wind through mountains, valleys, storms, and seasons we never expected. Yet through every step of the journey, one question quietly echoes in the human heart:
"Why am I here?"
This isn't a quiz or a personality test. It's an invitation to pause, reflect, and begin discovering the Hand of God that has been guiding your life — even when you couldn't see Him.
As you travel through these five trail markers, you'll discover five Greek words found in Scripture that reveal different dimensions of God's purpose for your life.
Prothesis
God's Original Design
Every great adventure begins with identity.
Before you can know where you're going, you must first understand who you are.
The Greek word Prothesis speaks of God's intentional purpose — His design established before your life ever began. You are not an accident. You are not forgotten. Long before anyone knew your name, God knew your story.
At Base Camp we ask one simple question:
Who does God say I am?
Until that question is settled, every other step of the journey will feel uncertain.
"In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will."
Ephesians 1:11

Boulē
God's Counsel
Every trail has markers.
Every journey has moments where a decision changes everything.
The Greek word Boulē speaks of God's counsel — His wisdom that directs our steps even when the path ahead is unclear.
Life is full of voices competing for our attention. God's voice still leads those willing to listen.
Am I willing to follow His direction?
The question is not whether God is speaking. The question is whether we are willing to follow.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
Proverbs 3:5–6

Thelēma
God's Will
Every mountain begins as a desire.
Before anyone climbs a summit, something deep inside them whispers — "Go higher."
The Greek word Thelēma speaks of God's will — not merely as a destination to discover, but as a desire He plants within those who walk with Him.
Not every desire comes from God. But every God-given desire will ultimately draw you closer to Him.
Who placed the mountain in your heart?
The journey isn't simply about reaching the mountain. It's about discovering Who placed it there.
"For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose."
Philippians 2:13

Skopos
God's Goal
Every calling requires commitment.
Dreams remain dreams until someone begins climbing.
The Greek word Skopos means "goal" or "aim." The Apostle Paul said, "I press toward the goal…"
The climb isn't always easy. There will be obstacles. There will be setbacks. There will be storms.
Will you keep climbing?
But every step of obedience brings you closer to the purpose God has prepared for you.
"I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 3:14

Horion
God's Appointed Place
The summit isn't the end of the journey.
It's where perspective changes everything.
The Greek word Horion speaks of boundaries, territories, and the places God has appointed for each of us.
As you look back over your life, you'll begin seeing something you couldn't recognize while walking through it — the mountains, the valleys, the storms, the unexpected detours.
None of them were wasted.
Perhaps the greatest discovery isn't finding your purpose. It's realizing that God's Hand has been leading you all along.
"From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us."
Acts 17:26–28

The Book
Hand of Purpose
Discovering God's Fingerprints on Your Life
Every trail marker you've just walked through is explored in depth in the book Hand of Purpose. Five Greek words. Five dimensions of calling. One journey that could change everything.
Our Story
Every fingerprint is unique. So is every calling.
How It Began
Hand of Purpose began with a simple but relentless question: why do so many people — even deeply faithful people — live their entire lives without ever discovering what they were made for?
The answer, we found, wasn't a lack of faith. It was a lack of language. Most people have never been given the tools to look back at their own story and recognize the fingerprints God left along the way.
This ministry exists to give people that language — and to walk with them as they discover it.
Our Mission
"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
Ephesians 2:10
Help people see what God has already been doing in their lives — the patterns, the passions, the wounds, and the wonders that point toward purpose.
Provide biblical tools and reflective frameworks that turn personal history into purposeful direction.
Empower people to step into their God-given calling with clarity, courage, and confidence.
Biblical Foundation
